The Club has a firm foundation and was originally founded in 1995 by a number of people who believed in bringing grassroots football to the Welwyn Garden City area.

 

The Club is run as a non-profit making organisation and run by volunteers.  All funds received are used to enhance the playing experience for the children involved in the Club.  This can be by providing new kit, new equipment and better facilities to enable the children to enjoy the national game of football.

 

Gosling Youth FC always aim to be a warm, friendly Club giving opportunities to any players who wish to play our national sport of football at its grassroots level and at the same time,  we as a Club, will and do fully  support the FA’s Respect Campaign.

 

The ethos of the Club is fun, safe and affordable football for the youth in our community.

 

All the children who play for the Club are well cared for and their safety and well-being is, and always will be, the Club’s main concern.  All officials and managers have undergone FA CRB checks and are qualified to coach youth players,helping them enjoy sport and outdoor leisure in a safe and friendly environment.
